Note on COVID Testing COVID-19 tests carry an additional charge for all patients, including members. HCM is billed separately for COVID tests and cannot absorb this cost in the membership fee. Non-members pay $20 for the test only, or $40 bundled with a video visit.

Never. HCM is entirely walk-in. Arrive at either location during operating hours — Mon–Fri 8AM–8PM, Sat 8AM–5PM.
No. HCM is a self-pay clinic and does not accept or bill any insurance. Members pay a flat monthly fee and $0 at every visit. Non-members pay $120 per visit. If you have insurance, you can still use HCM — you just pay directly.
The full provider examination — the clinical conversation and physical assessment. Testing, imaging, labs, and diagnostics are available separately at $50 per bundle, or free for members.
There is one provider per day per clinic. For non-urgent visits, you can attend on the day your preferred provider is scheduled. Your full records in Elation mean any provider can continue your care seamlessly.
Most chronic condition patients are seen every 3–6 months depending on stability. More frequent check-ins — in person or via telehealth — are scheduled when medication adjustments are underway. Labs and monitoring are handled on-site.
HCM has established relationships with trusted specialist partners across 25+ specialties in Charleston. They coordinate the referral, share your records with the specialist, and help you understand next steps. Many partners have self-pay pricing negotiated.
HCM sees patients from 6 months of age and older.
Yes. Memberships can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice. No long-term contracts, no lock-in.
